About me

Born to parents of different nationalities and having grown up in a family that has English as its sole language of communication, and with the language being the key language of instruction and communication throughout the stages of his education, it is safe to say that English Language is Moses´s first language.

Moses´s great English Language skills became noticeable in elementary school, during which he often emerged top of the class in the subject of the same name. He had already started writing constructive essays to the amazement of his father whom he claimed had inspired him during this period. This performance lasted through out his secondary school education, emerging the overall second best in English Literature in the National Exam. He was also the president of the dramatic club, social prefect and a member of the debate society, representing his school at interschool competitions.

He already started writing stage plays while in high school, including articles for publication, poetry and novels.

He became a full-fledged author after he published his first novel in 2008, titled; Season of Tears, a tragic story based on the infamous Liberian civil war. Moses has since published three novels and a collection poetry, all publications originally written in English Language.

Moses studied Public Administration and minor in English language in the University, and later went on to study Creative writing and Acting at the Royal Art Academy, one of the most prestigious film schools in Lagos, due to his burning passion for writing and acting. TESOL is his latest academic programme.

With a Bachelor´s degree and TESOL certification, Moses is a qualified English teacher.

Moses started his teaching career as a teenager, working voluntarily in his mother’s kindergarten as an assistant class teacher for preschoolers and the school’s physical education teacher. He was later made the head teacher due his managerial and organizational skills. At the same time he was running his own extra moral classes for elementary 6 students who were preparing for the National Common Entrance Examination, an occupation that saw him through senior high school. Due to the success of his student during the national exam, he was employed to teach in an elementary school as soon as he graduated from high school. While in the university, he started tutoring both elementary and secondary school students English and mathematics, and sometimes social studies and Physical education. He was also known for coaching interested students creative writing and public speaking. Presently, Moses is basically engaged in online teaching, private tutoring, freelance writing, editing and proofreading.
